This exclusive trade only workshop will be led by cognac experts Phil Duffy and Hannah Lanfear who will present a concise, interactive workshop on the culture of contemporary cognac cocktails in the UK. The dynamic duo will take the audience through a cognac cocktail odyssey; delving into how the diverse production choices (terroir, grapes, barrels, ageing and more) influence cognac’s subtle flavour profile, making some of today’s most sublime cocktails. Trade guests will walk away equipped with up to date information on the appellation and an abundance of inspiration for shaking up some cutting-edge cognac cocktails.

Phil Duffy comments “It’s so positive to see the cognac category continuing to grow in popularity and now more than ever which is of course due to London’s love of cocktails being at an all-time high. Cognac is no doubt one of the most versatile spirits and is one of the hottest cocktail ingredients going.”

Hannah Lanfear adds “April is a busy month for this fantastic spirit with so many of London’s trade taking part in The Cognac Show and Cognac Cocktail Weekend. Culture Cognac is a great initiative, I’m really looking forward to catching up with friends in the trade and to presenting alongside Phil –there’ll be some fantastic cocktails there too!”
