Vineyard

The Cognac vineyard covers more than 83, 140 hectares, divided into six “crus”, or growths. Cognac is made from a selection of white grape varieties, primarily Ugni Blanc. Cognac is produced on a terroir which stretches out over the Charente, Charente-Maritime and several villages in the Dordogne and Deux-Sèvres. The vines benefit from a clay-limestone soil and a mild, oceanic climate.
