The Cognac sector will take part in the 18th edition of Whisky Live Paris 2022 from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 September. The Cognac appellation and the BNIC will be present at Whisky Live Paris in two separate areas, the “exhibitor” space and the not-to-be-missed Cocktail Street, where both enthusiasts and newbies will be welcomed.

WHISKY LIVE PARIS

Created in 2004, Whisky Live Paris is one of the biggest European spirits festivals, a must-attend event in September for bartenders and trend-setters, as well as novice or experienced cocktail enthusiasts. The event attracts over 15,000 visitors every year.

For this 2022 edition, no less that eleven Cognac houses will be exhibiting and sharing their passion and expertise. It is a wonderful opportunity for visitors to Europe’s largest tasting event to (re)discover the finesse and aromas of this unique spirit.

The following Cognac houses will be present at the entrance of the tasting area:

  • Stand no. 1 – Cognac Abecassis
  • Stand no. 2 – Cognac Rémi Landier
  • Stand no. 3 – Cognac Through the Grapevine
  • Stand no. 4 – Cognac Pasquet
  • Stand no. 5 – Cognac Naud
  • Stand no. 6 – Cognac Ferrand
  • Stand no. 7 – Cognac Camus
  • Stand no. 8 – Cognac Vallein Tercinier
  • Stand no. 9 – Cognac Bache-Gabrielsen
  • Stand no. 10 – Cognac Grosperrin
  • Stand no. 11 – Cognac François Voyer

COCKTAIL STREET

Cocktail Street is the bar area at Whisky Live Paris, located at the entrance of the main hall, where various brands will showcase their cocktail creations. Cognac is enjoying a real boom in popularity thanks to mixologists from around the world and their current creations. Two thirds of Cognac consumed worldwide is in cocktails.

The Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC), in partnership with the Parisian bar Le Syndicat, will present three original Cognac-based creations.

Visitors and professionals alike can make the most of the Cognac line-up on Cocktail Street:

  • Stand no. 6 with Maison Camus
  • Stand no. 19 “Cognac Experience” with the BNIC
  • Stand no. 34 with Maison Rémy Martin

COGNAC MASTERCLASS

Monday 26 September is reserved for professional visitors only, whereby the BNIC will offer a masterclass from 4.45 pm to 5.30 pm. The BNIC’s Cognac Ambassador and the Cognac houses in attendance will showcase just how diverse this spirit is. As a cosmopolitan drink, Cognac is a firm favourite in restaurants and bars around the world. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, in cocktails, in long drinks, as an aperitif, or as part of a meal, it can be consumed in a plethora of ways, which vary from culture to culture

Professional visitors attending the masterclass will discover Cognacs from the following three houses:

  • Maison ABK6
  • Maison Pasquet
  • Maison Ferrand
