La Part des Anges

The artwork

As part of the 2018 edition, a digital artwork was created during the evening.

Bright suggested the idea to create a work of art made out of digital data related to the event.
The artwork was produced from social media posts featuring the #PDA2018 and #partdesanges hashtags.

One association, one project

one sponsor

Thierry Marx is one of the world’s most renowned French chefs

French chef Thierry Marx did us the honor of sponsoring the 11th edition of La Part des Anges. Eager to share his expertise, he decided to create a free training center in 2012, targeting unemployed persons wishing to undergo a 12-week career conversion program in Paris’ 20th arrondissement, where he grew up.

Cuisine Mode d’Emploi-S
A rehabilitation cooking school

Cuisine Mode d’Emploi-S helps former inmates and young persons, who left school with little or no qualifications, to reintegrate into society by learning about professions related to cooking, free of charge. Schools have been set up in Paris, Dijon, Besançon, Villeneuve-Loubet, Marseille, and Grigny. Since the first school was created in 2012, 1,200 people have been trained to work in kitchens, bakeries, as well as the catering and seafood sectors.

A wave of

generosity

La Part des Anges is also a social solidarity initiative, which encourages people to get involved in charity projects at local and regional levels!

Like the Cognac industry, you can also support the region and our partner associations.

The association supported

Association Fraineau

The Fraineau Medico-Educational Institute in Cognac welcomes young slightly-to-moderately mentally handicapped people, both with and without associated disorders. Association Fraineau launched a programmed of learning by cooking and a restaurant where this is applied in Cognac.
