The Cognac appellation is inviting Chinese professionals to its Masterclass on Saturday 8 April 2023 at the China Food Drinks Fair. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday 8 April, the Cognac interprofession will be holding a masterclass on Cognac at the China Food Drinks Fair<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The program will include a presentation of the Cognac Geographical Indication, its specificities and its unique terroir, followed by a tasting of different styles of cognac to better appreciate its aromatic diversity.
\nThis masterclass, led by the Cognac Educator Xu Wei, will raise awareness of the Cognac culture among Chinese professionals.<\/p>\n

Since 1955, the China Food Drinks Fair (Chengdu), known as the barometer of the Chinese food and beverage industry, is one of the oldest and largest fairs in China.
\nEach edition covers an area of 100,000 square meters with more than 3,000 exhibitors and 150,000 trade visitors.<\/p>\n

CFDF is known as the most important event in the industry, due to its history, size and nature of its visitors. A great influence throughout China, a “must” for market professionals.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE BNIC<\/h4>\n

The BNIC, or Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac, represents, develops and preserves the Cognac AOC (Appellation d\u2019origine contr\u00f4l\u00e9e<\/em>), both in France and abroad.<\/p>\n

In the 150+ countries where Cognac is sold, this Geographical Indication provides consumers with a guarantee that they are buying an outstanding wine spirit. Comprising an equal number of members from the winegrowing and commercial sides of the industry, the BNIC is a coordination and decision-making body which brings together almost 4,300 winegrowers and grower-distillers, 120 professional distillers, and 290 merchants operating within the appellation.<\/p>\n
