This diploma is the culmination of four days of immersion and training in the Cognac region, plus a series of written and oral exams taken before a panel of industry professionals, wine merchants and winegrowers. The newly qualified Cognac educators join a community of more than 80 Cognac enthusiasts accredited by the BNIC who are active worldwide in spreading knowledge about Cognac and its culture.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19983\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cognac.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/c-BNIC-Alberto-Bocos-Gil.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1709\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a9\u00a0BNIC \/ Alberto Bocos Gil<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIVE WINE AND SPIRITS EXPERTS WERE SELECTED FOR THE LATEST \u201cCOGNAC EDUCATOR\u201d GRADUATING CLASS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidates for the BNIC\u2019s \u201cCognac Educator 2022\u201d accreditation arrived in Cognac on Monday 24 October from around the world, including Austria, Canada, China, France and Great Britain. Each of them was invited to the region for an immersive experience in the world of Cognac. During their stay, they visited several Cognac houses and producers and met with professionals passionate about promoting Cognac. To perfect their knowledge, they also took part in cocktail workshops and masterclasses. A series of written and oral exams, in front of a jury of professionals, concluded their four days in Cognac and enabled them to become true Cognac experts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROMOTING COGNAC WORLDWIDE <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the \u201cCognac Educator\u201d programme, launched in 2010 by the BNIC, is to accredit French and international trend-setters who are committed to spreading knowledge about Cognac and its culture in their home country.
